We just finished our Review of My1Voice. Make sure you check it out for all the details.
All in all we find it a great basic virtual pbx. It may lack a few of the more advanced features some of the more established virtual pbx providers offer, however it does have all of the main functions most small businesses or home offices would be looking for. We have no complaints about their customer service, as they were very responsive and answered our questions easily when we ran into issues. This seems to be a sentiment shared by their existing customers as well.
My1Voice offers bundled minutes with each plan, ranging from 150 – which admittedly is on the lower end - but then makes up for it with 1,000 minutes on there Best Value plan, and 2,000 on their More Minutes Plan. Their plan pricing is very competitive, with their low end plan coming in at $10 month, with no long term contract required, and their top end More Minutes plan being $50 a month. My1Voice also joins Phone.com and Grasshopper in offering unlimited extensions on all plans.
My1Voice does offer what we would consider “some” more advanced features such as a “call from web” button that can be added to your website or emails. This feature is also offered by Phone.com and RingCentral, and allows your customers to easily connect with you, via phone with a simple click of the mouse. Very Cool! Want your voicemails transcribed to text so that you can read them easily in noisy places? No problem with My1Voice.
With My1Voice you will not pay an extra fee to get a Vanity Number or transfer an existing number. This sets them apart from their competitors, who all charge for Vanity Number setup, and most charge for line transfers. So if you want that cool “1-800-Luv-Cats” Vantity number? Then go for it, cause it won’t cost you a dime extra with My1Voice!
