New Virtual Phone System Quick Compare

Quick Compare Grid.

We’ve added a new “Quick Compare” grid to our menu that we are calling “Summary”.  We designed it to show the most distinquishing features between each of the virtual pbx providers we’ve reviewed.  It should give you a good sense for the main differences at a glance.  For a more detailed comparison be sure to use our Detailed Compare option, or check out our in-depth Reviews.

We’ve Reviewed My1Voice!

We just finished our Review of My1Voice. Make sure you check it out for all the details.

All in all we find it a great basic virtual pbx. It may lack a few of the more advanced features some of the more established virtual pbx providers offer, however it does have all of the main functions most small businesses or home offices would be looking for. We have no complaints about their customer service, as they were very responsive and answered our questions easily when we ran into issues.  This seems to be a sentiment shared by their existing customers as well.

My1Voice offers bundled minutes with each plan, ranging from 150 – which admittedly is on the lower end -  but then makes up for it with 1,000 minutes on there Best Value plan, and  2,000 on their More Minutes Plan. Their plan pricing is very competitive, with their low end plan coming in at $10 month, with no long term contract required, and their top end More Minutes plan being $50 a month. My1Voice also joins Phone.com and Grasshopper in offering unlimited extensions on all plans.

Call Screening & Call Voice Tagging Now From Phone.com

Frog with Cell Phone

We are happy to announce the official launch of two new long awaited features from Phone.com.

Call Screening and Call Tagging now round out a long list of great features available within Phone.com’s Virtual Office product line.   Once again Phone.com proves that it is responsive in listening to their customers needs and requests for additional features.

* With Call Screening, once you receive a call to your Phone.com number, based on your call handling rules it can be forwarded to your cell phone, for example.  When you answer the call you will hear a message:

“You have received a call to [Your Phone.com number] from [the caller's true number]. Press 1 to accept. Press 2 to reject.”

You will now know who is calling you and what number they were trying to connect with. This can be extremely helpful in circumstances where you may have multiple phone numbers forwarded to your mobile phone. You can then choose to either accept or reject their call by simply pressing a button. Read More »

Ring Central Introduces RingCentral Office with Unlimited Minutes!

RingCentral Office

Did I just say Unlimited Minutes? Yes, I did!

RingCentral recently revamped their plans a bit, and converted their top two plans into what they are now calling RingCentral Office. Add to that a third level plan with up to 8 incoming lines, and they have created a complete business office phone system with everything a small to mid sized business needs.

If you are looking for a small business phone system where you need multiple incoming lines, multiple local numbers, and you require unlimited minutes because of the volume of outgoing calls you make, then these plans are perfect for you!

We feel the most important feature to highlight in RingCentral Office is the fact that all three plans include Unlimited Minutes! Let me say that again, “Unlimited Minutes”!  This is a big deal, because none of the other vendors we review in this space currently offer a plan with unlimited minutes! Other included, no additional cost, features of RingCentral Office include: Read More »
